MY FIRST STALL!

On Sunday 29th June, my husband Mac and I packed up our car and a trailer (borrowed from work) and set off at 8am to Hinchingbrooke Country Park.  We were the first to arrive and at first thought we had got the dates wrong.  We met with a lady called Judith the Senior Ranger who pointed us in the right direction.

We were very apprehensive but quite excited to see how the day would progress.

It was hard work setting up the gazebo, thank goodness I had Mac with me, I didn't realise it would be so windy!!!!

We battled on and were set up and ready to go by about 9am.  (Only 2 hrs to go before the show starts)

We had a good day in the end and spoke to many really nice doggy people.  I handed out about 60 price lists and business cards and sold a respectable amount of pigs ears, cows ears, turkey necks and my home made liver treats went down a storm; especially with the Cromwell Dog Club. (Thats the power of word of mouth!!!)

I sadly only sold one Muksak!!  There were plenty of people who thought it a great idea but most of them had come out with no money on them.

A grand total of £260 was raised and divided between 4 chosen charities, Pets as Therapy, Dogs for the Disabled, PDSA and Woodgreen Animal Shelters.

I am looking forward to doing another dog show soon.

My second stall was at Wood Green Godmanchester at their Summer Fun Day in August.  It was an indoor event so no wind to contend with this time!

I was put next to the Agility display which was amusing as all of the dogs wanted to be my best friend.

I met lots of really lovely people and sales were not too bad either.

A good fun day was had by all.
